Deep tissue massage is a type of massage designed to break up adhesions in the body. The "knots" that you can feel are due to chronic holding patterns due to lack of blood, water and nutrition. The benefits felt are decrease in pain, increase in energy and range of motion, and it allows emotional holding to release. The work is done using long slow strokes on the belly of the muscle using fist, elbow and forearm. The work is done on a table and specifically focused on the problem spot of the body.

In our Extended Massage therapy session you giving more time to therapist to work on the problems of your body. You will be encouraged to drink extra water in the days following your appointment which can help carry away toxins released from your soft tissues during the massage. Filtered water will be provided to you at the appointment.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage is a specialty massage that uses smooth, heated stones. The heat penetrates deep into the muscles to relax and allow warm blood to flow into the muscles. The therapist uses traditional strokes of Swedish massage with a hot stone. The therapist may leave heated stones at different points of the body such as the spine, palm of hands, or between the toes.

Thai Massage
Thai Massage is done on a mat or on a massage table with the recepient fully dressed in comfortable clothing. This massage is a process of transferring compassion from the massage therapist to the client. It is a meditation in motion in which the therapist uses their palms, thumbs, elbows and feet to work the lines of energy (known as Sen lines which correspond roughly to the meridians in Acupuncture). The muscles are kneaded and stretched as the therapist gently works the client's body into a series of Yoga postures, to precise depth appropriate for each individual.
For this massage comfortable clothing, such as exercise clothing, is recommended because stretching will be involved.

Simply Gorgeous Massage
Our Simply Gorgeous Massage is a combination of many different massage techniques in one treatment! A therapist will start with placing warm stones in your hands, on your feet and lower back and then will warm your muscles with a skin rolling and Swedish techniques as needed. Then deep tissue plus hot stones will be used on trouble spots. Session will be finished with a light strokes of Swedish and aroma therapy.
